Have you ever yearned for something that will take you to that place of peace and serenity, allowing you to juggle your hectic schedule of work, travel, children, home or whatever challenges in your life may cause you to feel overwhelmed?

Escape, The Woodhouse Signature Blend . . . a vision of balance and an integration of the senses, engages us to embrace the physical, the emotional, the intellect and the spirit, so that we may move forward with full consciousness and intent.  This intriguing blend is formulated to integrate and balance the chakra system and, therefore, the endocrine system, as well as bringing in the holistic masculine and feminine, in fact, our very essence.

Some of the primary essential oils that compose Escape are Lavender, patchouli, sandalwood and clary sage.  As an integrative blend for the whole person, it is difficult to discern any one essential oil and is thus more universal in nature.

· Lavender is called the universal essential oil, as the benefits range from sedative and anti-depressive through its ability as a natural antibiotic, antiseptic and positive contribution to our immune system.

· Patchouli essential oil wears many faces and plays a supportive role in the Escape blend.  Patchouli, aside from the memories of the 1960’s and 1970’s in our global history, is a beautiful essence with just a hint of spice and muskiness that is able to hold a blend together in perfect unity without being overpowering.  It exerts a grounding and strengthening effect assisting us in holding our intention.  Patchouli, from a physical perspective is known as an anti-wrinkle, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial (used in deodorants for this purpose) and an anti-fungal-literally good for all that ails both physically and emotionally.

· Sandalwood is a rare and precious essential oil that has had at least 4000 years of uninterrupted use both medicinally and in fragrance.  Its subtle essence is pleasing to all and has been used for eons in meditation and prayer, as it helps to calm mental chatter and stills the conscious mind.  This also helps to induce deep relaxation, minimizing stress.  Physical characteristics and benefits of Sandalwood are for skin and digestive difficulties.

· Clary Sage, sometimes known as “the woman’s happy oil”, can also be just as effective for males when it comes to stress-related disorders.  Clary Sage is an anti-depressive and is said to be good for nervous tension and migraine.  It is also said to bring us more in touch with our subconscious and therefore is used widely for journaling our dreams.  A common practice is to place a drop of Clary Sage on the pillow or in an oil burner before falling asleep and focusing on any problem or issue that needs clarification or resolution.  Keep a journal by your bed to record any of these dreams upon awakening.  Physical constituents of Clary Sage also offer a wide-range of benefits, just as Lavender, Patchouli and Sandalwood, beginning with the skin.  It is effective for acne as well as for anti-aging , wrinkles and hair loss.  Since it is a superb anti-inflammatory, this attribute encompasses all systems in the body including muscles and joints, respiratory, digestive, and nervous system, by soothing and calming.

A blend made from our global network of essential oils specifically to enhance our world and our own well-being?  Absolutely!  Escape for a time, to a place, a sense of being present to yourself and therefore ultimately to others.  Escape, The Woodhouse Signature Blend . . . choose Diffusion for your eco-environment and Bath for your personal environment that can be used at the temples and pulse points of the body to bring clarity, integration and balance to your world.
